I am so excited to begin my 8th year at Akron Elementary and my 14th school year in 5th grade!  I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College in 2007 and continued on to obtain my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2010. After receiving my elementary teaching certification, I taught in the Kenmore-Tonawanda School District from 2008-2014.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Akron community and can't wait to work closely with each and every one of my students and their families.

 

I currently reside in Lancaster, NY with my husband and two daughters who are nine and ten !  We love spending time outside, swimming, riding bikes and reading books. Teaching has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl and there is no where I am more comfortable, happy and passionate.  I am a huge Bills fan, love Diet Dr. Pepper and a Cancer Survivor!
