    I am pleased to welcome you to Pre-K! I am looking forward to having your child as a student.

    Pre-K is such a fun year filled with so many wonderful learning activities and growth. My most important goal is to create a family of learners in my classroom. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is valued, loved, trusted, and an integral part of our family of learners. It is my hope that you will support and encourage this vision at home.

     

    About Me

    Hello! My name is Erica Stoeckl (rhymes with freckle) and I am going into my sixth year of teaching, third year in UPK here at Akron Elementary.

    I attended SUNY Cortland for my B.S. in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. I then went on to Buffalo State University where I received my M.S. in Literacy. I am also LETRS and Orton-Gillingham Certified.

    I have four pet rabbits, I play the drums, I love to read, and I enjoy kickboxing in my spare time.

    Food: Anything Mexican

    Drink: Starbucks Coffee

    Store: Target

    Candy: Reese’s PB Cups and Sour Patch Kids

    Hobby: Reading and Kickboxing

    Place: The Adirondacks

    Sport: Football (Go Bills!!)
