• 2025-26 REVISED Student-Teacher Calendar - Revised & Approved 6/25/2025

    The file linked is a one-page printable .pdf version of the Board of Education approved 2025-26 Akron Central School District calendar which was adopted on March 12, 2025, and subsequently revised on June 25, 2025.

    Please review carefully to note the changes. Particular dates of interest include:

    * August 27 & 28 are Superintendent Conference Days
    * Monday, September 1 is Labor Day - No School
    * Tuesday, September 2 is the first day of student attendance
    * Winter Recess is scheduled for December 22nd through January 2nd
    * Mid-Winter Recess will be from February 16th through February 20th
    * Spring Recess will be from April 3rd through April 10th

    If additional student attendance days are needed due to weather or other closings, the retrieval days will be in the following order:
     
    6/24, 6/25 (Full Day ES/MS); 4/3

  • 2025-26 District Printed Calendar

    The file linked is an electronic version of the 2025-26 District Calendar that is printed and will be mailed one per household to the residences of those students attending Akron Schools during early August. 

    The publication includes the District's notifications and policies in the pages following the calendar months, as well as information about the Board of Education.  A phone directory for main offices and departments is also included.
