2024-25 ACS Timeline of Events

  • November 25 - Meeting with eligible candidates; Student Activity Information Form is distributed, and students sign off receipt of form.  Parents’ notification via School Messenger.

    December 3 - Completed activity forms are due in the HS Main Office.

    December 13 - Faculty evaluation forms completed.

    January 2 - Committee selects candidates.

    Second week of January 10 - Acceptance or denial letters are sent.

    February 6 - 6:00PM National Honor Society Induction Ceremony - AUDITORIUM

2025 National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

  • Akron Schools is proud to welcome 18 new members to the Akron Chapter of the National Honor Society.  The 2025 induction ceremony was held in the Edward Allen Auditorium with new inductees, current NHS member presenters, advisors, faculty, administration, and families in attendance.     Akron Schools extends its sincere congratulations to each of the new inductees, as well as their parents and family members, on their selection to this prestigious, time-honored organization.
